BYU’s schedule is very front-loaded (4 P5 games I’m the first 5 weeks; 3 of those are away games). We’re going to see people get hurt, similar to this year.

I’d also like to point out that complaining about injuries is a cop-out, sorry excuse. The people on this board moaning about injuries drive me insane. Was BYU injured when Portland State played an uncomfortably close game? Should BYU (injured or otherwise) EVER lose to UMass or ECU? Should USU beat BYU?

Every team has injuries. Lots of schools are on their 2nd or 3rd QB; lots of schools have problems with offensive line depth. These problems aren’t unique to BYU, and they certainly aren’t the reason that BYU is dropping so many games.
