You're confusing Bronco with Rudy Ruettiger. It was a few guys it wasn't
anywhere near 30. Even with that said Reynolds was not 2nd choice. Reynolds was considered and he was interviewed along with some others but he didn't get an offer. The only guys that received offers was Whit and Bronco. Which means Whit was first choice and Bronco was second. Just because you are interviewed doesn't mean they wanted or were going to hire you. Its just the natural hiring process. You see whats out there after your plan A fails.
