Can't say I counted the players, so 30 was a guess. I honestly think it was more, but didn't want to exaggerate. It was standing room only in Tom's office. Cam Jensen did most of the talking. Tom thanked us for coming but didn't say much.
At that point word was the new coach would be Reynolds. Us going to Tom was kind of a last ditch effort to make sure Tom had complete info before he made his decision.
The next team meeting we had Bronco came in and announced he had been hired. I remember I was surprised and felt like we must have gotten through to Tom. Both Bronco and Tom said in later interviews that Tom hadn't been seriously considering Bronco until that point.
