I'm not denying that it is probably the pinnacle, grand finale, etc. of celestial events or that it is an "experience".
SOME of the things.. you mentioned relating to a Solar eclipse I would argue could are observed during Sunrise and Sunset though.
Sunrise and Sunset are their own experiences as well but just not as rare as a Solar Eclipse.

How long does a sunrise last?
