I was just at 99.6% partial solar eclipse according the totality app. Things got calm, quiet, street lamps turned on.

I'm sure if I had gone to somewhere else it would've been even darker but I got fairly good idea.

It was similar to how I've described and how it has been described to me.

Cool experience but not life changing!
