Neither conference is tough enough
to warrant that kind of worry/planning in my opinion. I don't believe BYU or Utah should pad their schedule in a way to try and perfectly set themselves up for the two tough conference games on their schedules.
They shouldn't de-emphasize the one game that, quite frankly, is probably the biggest money generator, gets the most media exposure and is the biggest recruiting tool they have. Seems really short sighted to me.
