game already, and BYU isn't even in the Big 12 yet. I want the rivalry game to continue as long as possible. Having grown up in SLC and having lived there almost my entire life, it is one of the games that interests me most. I've got my plane tickets to fly into SLC on 9/15 and it will probably be the only live BYU football game I attend this season.

The entire week leading up to the game I start getting anxious. The whole state gets into that game and it feels like a holiday. I think it would be sad if the bridge was completely burned and the game wasn't played (see UT vs aTm speculation).

This year should be especially interesting because both BYU and Utah face tough road tests the week before, BYU and Utah are no longer in the same conference, it's in September, and it's a night game. I still can't believe it is almost here.
