Well, you didn't grow up in the 60's
I've met a few, and they are usually the cantankerous, old codger type. But they are few and far between, in my limited empirical experience.
The Wake Forest game... doubt it. That game was hyped up and a fun game. The crowd was so loud. And yeah, the fans were into it. But BYU fans do police their own, especially with racial slurs and crap like that. Some stuff does get thru, but not that.
