I guarantee that there are racist BYU fans.
that said, I've never seen one manifest his or herself publicly at a game and, if they did, they would be summarily shouted down and run out of the arena by the rest of the fans.
The problem is that some people think that anything negative shouted by a white person toward someone who is a minority counts as "racial slurs." Seriously. I once had this very argument with someone who said that a white fan yelling anything negative at a black player, even if it was 100% sport-related, that was evidence that the white person was racist.
