Justifying the UC-CSU rivalry is not our responsibility
nor is it our responsibility to justify Utah not signing on for more BYU games in the near term. It is what it is, no excuses, just a decision that was made.
I would prefer we continue the rivalry. It is a great game. However, I'm not motivated to do anything to preserve it. I certainly have been pushed further from caring too much after all of the posts of grandeur on Cougarboard today. So many posts today seem to imply BYU is Florida and Utah is NIU. If so many of you really believe that crap then I really don't have a desire to watch my team continue to kick the crap out of the Cougars year in and year out just to try to prove you wrong. (There, I threw in my own bit of hyperbole just for kicks.)
