yeah, city center boulder is about 40 minutes from invesco, but boulder is really a suburb of denver, only the county bought the land in between the two so that boulder could keep it's distinct culture apart from the denver city life.
fort collins is a different world from denver and boulder. it's more wyoming than colorado. it's on the plains, and it has zero relationship with denver.
a game at invesco really is a home game for CU. cu will stay in boulder, while csu will stay in denver. that is the way that they've always done it. so it's not playing at rio tinto eight times. it's more like playing in ogden 8 times.
