to play the game each year? We can split the seating equal between the two teams, and even paint one end-zone red and the other blue, Red River Rivalry style. But it'd have to be the best place in the state of Utah for football of course.
Because we don't want to short change the fans of the state with some ghetto stadium, it'll have to meet some criteria:
1. Be the biggest stadium in the state, to meet the demand for the game of course. Somewhere know to have "the largest gathering ever in Utah history". Likely somewhere that's big enough to rank top 25 in college football attendance for over 20 years.
2. It'll have to have two giant HD jumbotrons and new LED video walls.
3. Marriott-quality press boxes and the best suites, and luxury seating in the state.
4. It'll have to be a top notch playing surface of course, one covered with a sand-based natural turf capable of draining eight inches of rain per hour; a well-kept grass field consistently deemed one of the best in the country. We don't want some cheap recycled-tire artificial turf meant to save on grounds keeping costs. That would just be too ghetto for a rivalry of this caliber.
5. Oh, and it needs to be in the best city in the state. Somewhere recognized by highly esteemed sources as great for families and businesses, not some place "Almost as nice" as Lee Corso would say.
6. Oh and most importantly it'll need to be played in a stadium where the TV broadcast rights allow the game to be aired on a channel that's a "World Leader in Sports" and not get lost in some silly regional coverage/ "pay-per-view" TV deal.
I'm open to ideas.
Any suggestions?
