anyone on cougarboard. The playoff format if based on SOS, wins, top 4, and conference champions. BYU doesn't have the luxury of conference champions, but they do have a chance. A better chance than this year or previous years. Utah has a better chance because they will have a one more thing - conference championship (when that ever happens). They had a chance last year with a terrible record - 2 wins away from the Rose Bowl.

I don't either think Utah will be a powerhouse but might have that magical season. The reason why they will never be a powerhouse is they are located in Utah. SLC is one of the last places on recruits' minds. Look at the Jazz for example. It's listed as one of the last teams players want to go. (Not that anything is wrong with SLC, it's just not as desirable as LA or East Coast to the rest of the US.) BYU has an even harder time recruiting especially to the non-LDS kids.

Anyway it's nice to see some reason out of a Ute fan let alone a pimp.
