No, we can blame them for being mad. Why don't they say no
and see what happens next?
USU is the worst school in the state of going crying to the media - taking contract negotiations and making them public. It pisses people off, and legitimizes the "little brother" mantra that USU holds in the state.
Stew Morrill is the biggest baby of them all, and the Logan Herald gobbles it up and it becomes gospel in Logan. Need to learn to keep their mouths shut to the media, take care of things behind closed doors, and deal with things then and there. If after contracts are finalized there are games missing or 2-for-1s, it would go a long ways for them to show tact instead of leaking to the media.
