It won't be the destination school it once was and probably can't be given the
numbers. But for example if BYU does not become the go to school in AZ for LDS kids and they start to turn back to ASU in masses. Then yes in the long run this is bad for BYU. If you think that the number of LDS HS kids has peaked and that there will be fewer and fewer then it doesn't matter. But if you dilute the fan base too much, then yes it is bad for the brand.
