I've also heard that if a player meets NCAA requirements, they will be admitted.

This issue comes up on the board sometimes. Some people make it sound like a Star Linebacker would need to have credentials sufficient to get admitted through a non-sports channel. Others say that BYU will take a good player as long as they meet NCAA minimums.

I remain unsure what it takes for an athlete to be admitted.
