A kid with a 2.3GPA and a 25 on the ACT will pass the NCAA clearinghouse (is NCAA eligible).
That kid will not get past BYU admissions without a major fight by the coaches, AD and Brigham Young himself.

Has it happened, yes... 98% of those kids flunk out. Each kid that flunks out lowers the schools NCAA GSR/APR and it makes it even harder for Kalani, Holmoe and Brother Brigham to get the next kid past.

I know this as 100% fact.
