The pizza driver hasn’t done anything that hasn’t already been paid for. Get my pizza there in 15 mins and while it’s still hot (which almost never happens) and then we can talk about a tip. Do nothing but the bare minimum by just showing up to deliver my pizza and you should not be expecting more money from me.
Again, this would all be different if they didn’t charge me for the delivery. If I’ve already paid for my pizza and paid for you to bring it to me then that’s the end of transaction.
The delivery charge should go straight to the driver if they are charging for delivery. I know this doesn’t happen but I’m not ok with Pizza Hut and Dominos passing on the responsibility to pay their drivers to me.
