That's the take away from my post? Of course they didn't do it out of charity.

Of course there was upside for them in inviting us. The MWC didn't form the Mountain Channel out of charity either. But they sure didn't hesitate to harm BYU and refuse to give what we were promised. The WCC has treated us well. Slamming schools with fewer resources because we're struggling isn't cool, IMO. That's my point.
