Yet people have no problem giving teens a car... a device that can kill...
The difference is.... you've sent your kid to drivers ed. you've spent time with them driving in the car. you have taught them to be safe drivers. You have set limits, boundaries, rules, and expectations. At some point, you have to give them the keys and hope you have done everything to keep them safe.

It's the same with technology.

Just because you've never put a whiskey bottle in the hands of your kids doesn't mean one won't find its way into their possession. When that does happen hopefully you've done everything possible to make sure they make the right decision.
