It totally prepared me for Northwestern where I competed against students from ivy league schools, Notre Dame, etc. The big difference was the funding and access to big city resources (Chicago, obviously). At BYU we might have had the regional marketing manager for McDonald's come in an speak to our marketing class. At Northwestern, I had a class taught by the head of marketing for McDonald's for a semester--big difference. But the quality of the students and the difficulty of the classes were the same, I thought.
