The funny thing about universities is that they all essentially teach the same things. So what's the difference in education quality ? Most 'objective' metrics relate to quality of student, and have little to do with the actual education. You can argue that quality of professor is what matters, but how do you assess professor quality? Student evals? Research? None of the existing metrics really address the quality of education.
What you get at an Ivy league school is the prestige that the an Ivy league degree offers. It's not at all clear whether there is any actual difference in the actual education.
