Say nothing. It's none of the employer's business unless being pregnant prevents
her from performing the essential functions of the job--e.g., her job requires her to do very heavy lifting. There's no reason to disclose her pregnancy. Don't lie, of course, but if the ER asks if she's pregnant, she should reply that that's personal and illegal and that she can do everything required by the job. The Pregnancy Act, a federal law, prevents this kind of discrimination.
