Having been a hiring manager it is illegal to discriminate for this purpose
It should have no bearing on her ability to do the job for which she applies and as others have said she is under NO obligation to disclose this fact. I would even go so far as to discourage her sharing it

Also with FMLA she would legal protection for being out during her pregnancy and a company has to hire her back at worst in a similar position and salary or in the role that she had when she went out on leave.
