Amd recognize that while "get an education and don't do drugs" are critical, they are not the only factor keeping people out of poverty. Health, intelligence, marital status, etc., all have a hige impact. Someone can keep his nose clean and work hard but be somewhat below average in intelligence and without a family safety net and be one mishap from being out on the street.
