We live in the Rose Park/Fair Park neighborhood. We have an eclectic neighborhood. We have everything from Dr.s, Lawyers, University Presidents, IT professionals, blue collar workers, to homeless people. We haven't had any real security issues. The gang bangers tell us we don't steal from our own, we go to the rich neighborhoods. We have been able to travel and have lots of family adventures. We have lived in Mexico for months at a time. Not tourist trap areas but places like Tijuana, Ensenada, Mexico City, Acatitlan, etc. We have been able to go to every school activity, every parent teacher conference, every sporting event, etc. I have a sibling that had the goal to become a millionaire. Well he did it, but he hasn't been able to travel, go to his childrens activities, school or otherwise. His kids don't really like him that much, they have always felt like they come in second to money. After spending time dead, I came back with a greater realization that money comes and goes, money, houses, properties, and other worldly possessions don't mean anything in the greater scheme of things. What matters is family. Family, memories, and knowledge is what you take with you when you pass away.
