of us begrudge Pope for taking the UK job. For me, that's not that point. Pope looking to make more money and do something "bigger." Cool. Good luck. That's not the issue. The issue is just "how" he leaves. Too early to have an opinion on it, but he can leave behind some of what he built or he can undo almost all of it. That is the issue or question. Not that he is leaving. No problem with that - yes, vast majority would do the same. It will just be interesting to see what he leaves and what he takes or what just is natural fallout from him leaving (that he can't control). But there are things he does control and could do in leaving that could hurt (or help) the program. Not saying he will or won't do them, but the impact of his departure could be magnified by "how" he leaves.
