This was always going to happen. The sooner we got better the sooner Pope would
move on. If we didn't get better Pope would still have left although probably later, taking coaches and players with him. This is the price of being in the big leagues.
The only way to stop it from happening is to get consistent fan support, NIL, and program support so we became an end point rather than a stepping stone.
