The only way I see any coaching change even coming close to the level of drama in the original post is if the coach is publicly badmouthing the school, administration and players as he leaves. If a coach goes full throttle on throwing everyone and everything about his former school under the bus, then you can post stuff like the original post. But really, the vast majority of people would look at that coach and realize the former school and program are all far better off without that person. So either way, Pope can't "damage" the program. He is simply a replaceable cog in the wheel. Harder to replace than other cogs for sure, but still fully replaceable.
