So for this discussion it is a moot point. I worked in the Big 4 for a long time and they exist there as well. Often they are not iron clad and there are many ways for people to move jobs and get around those. It would be interesting to see if schools started putting similar language into coaching contracts going forward with the way transfers work now. It didn't matter in the past because it was so hard for players to transfer, but now it might be worth findings a way to put that language in there.
