You are right, I am assuming that. But I don't think it's worth much pursuing one-game contracts. I assume they were working on a H/H arrangement with several teams, but Rose felt he needed home games on the 2017 schedule more than road games.
Even in a H/H arrangement, there is a chance the other team could take the home game and break the contract and pay the fine specified therein, a la Utah. But that has only happened once according to Rose, and I get the sense it doesn't happen very often.
