If that's the case - then I get your frustration.

I can see coaches worrying about another team wanting you to visit first, thinking they'll buy out there return. But I don't think that can be the sole determining factor in your scheduling decisions. And I can see not wanting to have an unbalanced schedule that seems to be all home one year and all road the next - but that's one of those things you've just got to fix over time rather than avoiding big games altogether. I guess we'll see what the next few years' schedules look like and if this is the anomaly or if that is. Rose hasn't shown a fear of playing in big games.
