My point was that I really don't think it matters how the message is delivered if the message is inherently weak. In fact, I think I am suggesting exactly what you said, BYU could have a perfect presentation, but at the end of the day, we are not a P5 school and that colors the message for a lot of kids. How could it not? Remember those happy days just two years ago when the Big XII was considering expansion? Go ask the coaches who reached out to them to see if it was true? Big time recruits, even ones who grew up loving BYU, want to play big boy football. Yewtah has the advantage in the regard and thus has a larger margin for error in the way they pitch a recruit.
