At least it seems to me.
If Holmoe sent a quick survey to EVERY recruit to gets a visit for EVERY sport, he'd quickly get some input on where things are from the kids coming in's perspective.
I have no doubt that there will be responses on both ends of the spectrum. Not everyone will love it. Not everyone will hate it. But if you can see some trends as to how each recruit for each sport feels about the coaches, the recruiting experience, etc., he'll have a much better idea of how each is doing.
Probably not a bad idea to do something similar as an exit interview/survey. Both for those who transfer or leave mid-career for a variety of reasons, as well as those who make it through their whole career and graduate.
