don't blame technology... blame ignorance.
Both android and iOS have the ability to lock down the ability to install/uninstall applications. Rather than blaming the technology, you should be blaming the parents for not using the tools available to them.
It's like the people that yell "Video games are bad!!" after a parent buys their 10-year-old a copy of Grand Theft Auto without even knowing what it is.
