So I like it... thanks. But pretty hard to dispute what your numbers say, regardless. Just curious, did California (or anywhere else in the US) have a shortage of ICU beds/ventilators/overwhelmed healthcare system during those months of clear ILI outliers? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for targeted quarantines and social distancing measures (in "hotspot" areas, for vulnerable populations, etc.), but to me this speaks against a need for a nationwide, general quarantine, school closures, etc. I think it's been smoldering along in many areas since before all the media attention and resulting hysteria. (now cue the angry, snarky responses from the pro-quarantine crowd - just stating my own personal opinion here, so... easy tigers)
