A Princeton professor debunked this myth years ago...

He found that higher salaries were a result of individual characteristics and not where you went to school. So, yes, Stanford grads make more, but it's because they admit highly-intelligent overachievers. Of course they make more. If those same overachievers go to BYU or elsewhere, they make the same amount of money — but don't take on the enormous debt.
