The chart below is taken from Stanford's own source PayScale.com. BYU clearly belongs in the upper end of the PAC 12. Factor in cost of living and it looks even better. Pay is important, but I would argue the most important measure is the % high meaning which measures whether you believe your job makes a difference in the world. We're #1 in that category. Fascinating!

I'm not sure how you could argue that BYU doesn't belong in the PAC 12 because of academic standards. See the table below taken from https://t.co/cdGOQUqQPW.
