for me it is about a seeming lack of identity and passion
there doesn't seemed to be strong sense of ferocity
there are no defensive monsters because, it seems, the scheme is too conservative
I never expect anything cool to happen on defense
I'm literally just thinking, "Okay, let's see if we can limit how many yards and first downs they get so the real BYU (the offense) can get back out on the field."
All of those are my fairly unstudied reactions (not really intended to be well-reasoned analysis).
