This is a great question. We have a ton of untapped potential. Also big 12
Do we really want to start the big 12 at such a disadvantage as using a sometimes average and sometimes non existent (aka Oregon, uab, Wisconsin, Washington, etc) defense?
When the defense has played well we compete in games aka Utah last year, Baylor this year but why must we be on this roller coaster of wondering what kind of defense will show up?
We have no identity as a defense. We don’t attack. We don’t dictate. We hope they mess up. I want better than that.
