Are people really expecting 4 conference champs?

A lot of media have pointed out that the MOST you could have is 4 champs; but the majority of articles I have read pretty readily admit that it's more likely that only 2 or 3 conferences will be represented each year.

And, I agree that the CFP will eventually expand to 8 teams. I think we see it expand to 6 in about 5 years and then to 8 teams in about 8-10 years.
