2010, 2014; cases could be made for 2011 and 2012 as well
Playing the should have/could have game is pointless, but in 2011, Utah State had BYU on the ropes for the entire game. Barring a long, lame duck pass, and a touchdown completion off the hands of a USU DB, that game would have been a BYU loss. BYU didn't really look like the better team...

If I recall correctly, 2012 was a really close game, too (the boring 6-3 game). Utah State finished the season 10-2 and nationally ranked, beating Utah in the process (something BYU couldn't do that year). BYU's season was comparitively mediocre, and the Cougars did not finish the season in the top 25.

In 2013, BYU won by roughly the same margin that USU won in 2014.

All I'm saying is that there's more parity - especially recently - than a lot of BYU fans are willing to admit. Quoting stats dating back to 1974 is kind of ridiculous, and doesn't realistically convey the recent trends in the rivalry.

Also, I'm currently an undergraduate student at BYU. This makes your snarky comments about how "Aggies major in delusion" particularly amusing
