I haven't ever insinuated that has USU has historical superiority through the 70's, 80's and 90's. Even with BYU's fall-off in the early 2000's, they were still the better program. I'm simply claiming current parity. Out of the last 5-6 years, Utah State's football program has been essentially equal with BYU's (better in some years, worse in others). BYU has been trending down, USU has been trending up.

By the way, your excuse-making for the 2014 loss at home cracks me up. It's as if you have forgotten that Darell Garretson wasn't USU's starting QB... If we're going to examine the non-injury counterfactual, we should consider the advantage that Keaton would have given to USU's offense. I think a healthy Keaton negates a healthy Hill. With Hill's injury, both schools were playing backup QBs
