KVN was our best pass rusher in 2013. Should he never go into coverage?

Now, I agree that BK should not have been in pass coverage, much, as a Will (should have played like Clawson did) but even if he was a 4-3 DE he'd drop into coverage now and again, so I wouldn't use the term 'never' with him either.

Here's the issue with BK IMO. IN the 3-4, you generally want to put your best pass rusher at the Will because that is where a defender gets the best lanes to the QB. BK was our best pass rusher and he is/was undersized to play DE in the 3-4 and actually had to be removed in some games as a sophomore when he was getting abused by rushing teams (Notre Dame comes to mind). So, the move to LB wasn't without merit IMO. Having said that, with the hopeful emergence of Takitaki as a legit pass rush threat, moving BK back to DE and hoping he can hold the edge makes sense to me.
