There's a lot of room to go down from a 9-4 season, especially given the schedule and our injuries. By definition about half the college programs out there will have a sub .500 record. I've said before on this board that the "you've plateau'd" argument to me is hogwash. The rap on MJ, Cowher and even Coach K (the real one) was they couldn't "win the big one," that is until they did. I'm not sure Bronco will take us to the promised land and I see warts but we could very easily pull a Nebraska and hire a Mike Reilly and then really see how exceptional 9-4 / 10-3 is.

And I don't blame the Honor Code. It's what makes us what we are. Embrace it. That's what we need our players to do. If BYU isn't special, there shouldn't be a BYU. If a kid decides to go to the U because of the Honor Code, let him go.

By the way, if anyone wants to respond to this with a contrary view, do the the favor of leaving the snark behind. Make an intelligent argument.
