Just because everyone does it doesn't mean it's good.
I destroyed my arm because I was trying to throw curve balls before my arm was ready for it. I had to stop pitching at 15 because of it.

If you have a 9-10 yo throwing more than 2, maybe 3, pitches...you need a little help with coaching kids.

They can add a splitter to a circle change and fastball(preferably 4-seam only at that age).

Snapping off a 12-6 isn't close to the same thing as a circle change. Arm motion(especially in the elbow) is completely
