There was absolutely nothing "solid"...
About his argument. He is basically saying that schools that suck like wsu or cu, should be allowed to suck forever with no recourse simply because they happen to be in a "power" conference because if they were "moved down" so to speak it would be detrimental to them. In the meantime schools that don't suck, but happen to not be in a "power" conference should never be "moved up" even though it is detrimental to them not to be. It is a stupid argument, nothing "solid" about it. It lacks intelligence, morality, fairness, logic, and frankly coherency.
