Somebody is paying for all this. Chase is in the business of making money, and if they were losing money on all this, they would not be offering it any further.

I don't know if you carry a balance, but the additional money you spend with this card (studies show people spend 12% more with plastic than with cash), and the folks that carry balances allow these incentives to happen.

The Credit Card companies are smart, and although it looks nice, these perks are meant to continue making money for the CC companies.
