Chase Sapphire Reserve Card - first card that I'm legitimately excited for in a
while.
100,000 UR bonus points after spending $4,000 in 3 months
3x points per dollar on travel and dining
$300 annual travel credit (can be used for airfare, hotels, or any travel spend)
$100 Global Entry credit
Priority Pass lounge access
Visa Infinite perks, the biggest being a $100 credit when you book airfare for at least 2 people. Other benefits include primary car rental insurance, lost bag reimbursement, travel delay reimbursement (free hotel if your flight gets delayed), hotel upgrades, car rental elite status, and price protection.
Redeem points for travel at $.015 per point through the UR travel portal (versus $.0125 for the other UR cards) - this makes the sign up bonus worth at least $1500
Transfer to all the same UR travel partners (United, Southwest, British Airways, Hyatt, Marriott, and more)
Annual fee is $450. But there are $400 worth of annual travel credits available, making it really only around $50. Plus, the travel credits are annually, so you could sign up now and get your $300 for 2016, and then get another $300 next spring before your next annual fee is due.
Signups will be available around 8/20 or 8/21 (I guess they accidentally put a live link up yesterday and some people applied already). Word is that the Chase 5/24 rule doesn't apply, but we'll see.
