Shame others?? Good luck with that. This card easily has $1,400 of value just
for signing up.
I agree that Banks are in the business of making money, but there are alot of loss leaders available in the CC business right now as companies try to have their card as "top of the wallet". AMEX is hemorrhaging clients like crazy right now and this card is a good fit for AMEX Platinum card holders to transition into.
